Hi, I’m Jenny—the heart behind Jenny’s Cook Nook.
Growing up, I was a picky eater. Bland felt safe, and anything unfamiliar was an automatic no. It turns out I wasn’t “bad at food” I was just missing garlic! Once I discovered bold herbs, spices, and global flavors, food became exciting, creative, and meaningful.
Today, I’m passionate about sharing that same transformation with kids.
Jenny’s Cook Nook is a home-based cooking education program designed to build culinary confidence in children through hands-on, real-life kitchen experiences. Kids don’t just watch—they chop, sauté, bake, and create from scratch using real tools, real heat, and real recipes, all with close guidance and safety at the forefront.
As a mom of three daughters, I know how powerful it is when kids feel capable in the kitchen. Over the past year alone, I’ve taught 60+ students, helping them gain independence, curiosity, and confidence through cooking.
Some of our favorite creations include:
Pasta and pizza made completely from scratch
Hamburgers with homemade buns and hand-formed patties
Horchata and empanadas
Giant homemade Pop-Tarts
Herb butters, French chocolate tarts, and seasonal treats
My goal isn’t perfection, it’s confidence. I want kids to try new flavors, understand where food comes from, and feel proud of what they create.
Small-group, hands-on classes for kids ages 9-13
Real kitchen skills taught in a supportive, encouraging environment
Scratch cooking with fresh ingredients and global inspiration
A focus on independence, creativity, and confidence, not just recipes
A welcoming home-based learning space designed specifically for kids
Jenny’s Cook Nook isn’t just about cooking...it’s about empowering kids with skills they’ll carry for life.
